Responsibilities
- Administer pension plan accounts and retirement benefit calculations
- Process member contributions, distributions, and rollovers with 100% accuracy
- Conduct eligibility reviews and compliance audits per Florida Statutes
- Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and secure portal
- Generate benefit statements and quarterly performance reports
- Collaborate with HR departments across state agencies
- Update retirement plans using SAP HR and Oracle systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years pension plan administration experience
- Florida Retirement System certification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS platforms
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations
- Weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun 8am-5pm)
- Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
