Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans in compliance with ERISA and OPM regulations
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and survivor claims
- Conduct eligibility verifications and document audits for pension accounts
- Respond to veteran inquiries via secure federal communication channels
- Prepare quarterly compliance reports for pension plan oversight
- Collaborate with finance teams on pension fund reconciliation
- Update pension systems with legislative and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension/benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS) required
- Strong proficiency with Excel and federal benefits software
- Familiarity with ERISA and DOL pension regulations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance
