Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension contributions, distributions, and eligibility documentation during overnight shifts
- Ensure strict adherence to ERISA, IRS regulations, and Indiana pension statutes
- Manage participant account updates, address inquiries, and resolve discrepancies via phone/email
- Conduct daily reconciliation of pension fund transactions and financial records
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless data handover and process continuity
- Generate compliance reports and maintain accurate digital pension databases
- Support emergency pension operations during overnight critical incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years in pension administration, benefits, or financial services
- Proficiency with pension software (e.g., Millennium, Vangent) and MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of 401(k), 457(b), and pension fund regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance for financial data
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid Indiana government security clearance required
