Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund transactions and account balances during night shift hours
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations with 99.9% accuracy
- Conduct audits of pension records to ensure compliance with ERISA and state laws
- Respond to urgent pension inquiries from retirees and agency representatives
- Generate daily financial reports for senior leadership review
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless service continuity
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of pension plan administration experience
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k), and Georgia pension regulations
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Oracle Financials, ADP)
- Valid U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical data
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
