Responsibilities
- Analyze pension plan documents to ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and federal regulations
- Review and process retirement benefit claims with 99.7% accuracy
- Provide expert guidance to federal employees on pension options and retirement planning
- Conduct audits of pension plan administration procedures
- Prepare detailed reports on pension fund performance and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve complex pension disputes
- Develop educational materials for federal employees regarding retirement benefits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, TSP, and federal retirement systems
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Delphi, Millennium)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
