Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate radio systems and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software
- Coordinate with officers, firefighters, and EMS during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all communications
- Provide clear instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and departmental procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong typing skills (40+ WPM) and computer proficiency
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
