Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and radio equipment with precision
- Provide critical information and instructions to first responders during emergencies
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications and incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Remain calm and professional under extreme pressure situations
- Deliver exceptional customer service to callers in crisis
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient in computer systems and typing (40+ WPM preferred)
- Ability to multitask and make critical decisions rapidly
- Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Valid California Driver's License
- No felony convictions
