Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and emergency dispatches with precision and urgency
- Maintain accurate radio communication with officers and emergency services
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time incident tracking and documentation
- Provide critical pre-arrival instructions to callers during emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph
- Experience in high-stress customer service preferred
- Valid Hawaii driver's license required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Strong situational judgment and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
