Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with calm professionalism and rapid accuracy
- Operate radio systems to dispatch police, fire, and EMS units
- Enter/update critical data in CAD/records management systems
- Maintain situational awareness during high-stress incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers in crisis situations
- Complete all required training modules and certification exams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear communication skills (verbal/written)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be 18+ years old
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status
