Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls using state-of-the-art CAD systems
- Dispatch police units and emergency services with precise location and situation details
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and maintain accurate incident logs
- Calmly guide callers through emergency procedures (CPR, active shooter protocols)
- Collaborate with fire/EMS agencies during multi-agency responses
- Utilize provided mapping and location-tracking technology
- Adhere to NIMS protocols during crisis situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Typing speed ≥ 40 WPM (tested during assessment)
- Fluent English proficiency with clear enunciation
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- Must be 21+ years old (per state requirements)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- No felony convictions (verified through background check)
