Responsibilities
- Operate multi-channel communication systems to receive and prioritize emergency calls
- Dispatch police units, fire services, and medical responders with precise location details
- Maintain accurate incident documentation using CAD systems and digital logs
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents and disaster scenarios
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Monitor surveillance feeds and radio traffic for real-time situational awareness
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure and multitask effectively
- U.S. citizenship and residency in Kentucky
