Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Dispatch appropriate emergency units using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during emergencies
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Operate radio systems and emergency notification equipment
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 50 WPM typing certification
- Strong computer literacy and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Experience in customer service or emergency services preferred
