Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents
- Operate multi-line telephone systems and radio communications equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of all calls and radio transmissions
- Provide critical information to first responders and law enforcement
- Coordinate resources during emergency situations
- Utilize CAD systems for efficient dispatch management
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Maryland driver's license
- Typing speed of 35+ WPM
