Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with accuracy and compassion
- Dispatch police units and coordinate emergency response
- Operate CAD systems and maintain radio communications
- Enter and update critical incident data in RMS databases
- Provide multi-agency coordination during critical incidents
- Perform administrative duties including report generation
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency (40+ WPM)
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Clear communication skills (verbal/written)
- U.S. citizenship and valid Texas driver's license
- No felony convictions and clean background history
- Ability to pass drug screening and psychological evaluation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
