Responsibilities
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state regulations with integrity
- Respond to emergency calls within 15-minute response time
- Conduct community outreach and safety education programs
- Collaborate with federal agencies on homeland security initiatives
- Maintain detailed incident reports and digital evidence
- Participate in disaster response drills and real emergencies
- Operate specialized safety equipment per OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Minimum 2 years public safety or military experience
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and public safety software
