Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Operate multi-line telephone systems and CAD/RMS software
- Dispatch police units using GPS tracking and radio communication
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incidents
- Coordinate with other emergency services (fire, EMS) during multi-agency responses
- Provide critical information to officers in the field
- Remain calm and professional during crisis situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear English/Spanish bilingual communication skills (preferred)
- No felony convictions
