Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems
- Operate radio communications with police, fire, and medical units
- Enter and maintain accurate incident data in RMS databases
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Monitor multiple radio channels simultaneously
- Apply NENA/NCIC protocols for emergency call handling
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Nevada driver's license with clean record
