Responsibilities
- Answer emergency/non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy
- Dispatch police/fire/EMS units using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident reports
- Operate radio equipment and multi-line phone systems
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone
- Adhere to all protocols and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18+ years old
- Pass background check, drug screen, and voice stress test
- Basic computer proficiency (typing test required: 35+ WPM)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Clear communication skills (English proficiency)
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
