Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and non-emergency communications with precision and empathy
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and radio logs
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and emergency notification platforms
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Complete mandatory training modules and certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 50 WPM typing certification
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with computer-aided dispatch systems (CAD) beneficial
- Valid California driver's license
