Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and precision
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and logs
- Provide critical information to responding personnel
- Operate radio equipment and multi-line telephone systems
- Coordinate with other agencies during multi-incident scenarios
- Remain calm under high-pressure emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship and valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Clear criminal background and drug-free record
- Ability to pass psychological evaluation and polygraph test
- Strong multi-tasking and situational awareness skills
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office applications
- Fluent English proficiency; bilingual Spanish preferred
