Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls with speed and precision
- Dispatch police units and emergency services via radio systems
- Maintain accurate digital records of all communications
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems efficiently
- Provide critical information to first responders in real-time
- Remain calm under extreme pressure during emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Exceptional listening and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-stress situations
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be 18+ years old
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
