Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and CAD software for unit dispatch
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions (CPR, first aid) to callers
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Remain calm and professional under extreme pressure
- Adhere to all federal, state, and department protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Minimum 40 WPM typing proficiency
- Excellent active listening and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Flexible availability for 24/7 rotating shifts
