Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate radio communication systems to dispatch officers and resources
- Enter and maintain accurate incident data in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and actions
- Assist in training new dispatch personnel
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and residency in Oklahoma
- No felony convictions
- Ability to multitask under extreme pressure
- Proficiency with computer systems and databases
