Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy
- Dispatch police units efficiently using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate logs of all communications and incidents
- Provide critical information to officers in the field
- Operate radio systems and multi-line telephones
- Coordinate with other emergency services (fire, EMS)
- Perform data entry and record-keeping duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (test required)
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask in high-stress situations
- Basic computer proficiency
- No felony convictions
