Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional speed and accuracy
- Coordinate emergency response with police, fire, and medical units
- Maintain precise radio communications during critical incidents
- Operate CAD systems and NCIC databases for real-time information retrieval
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Document all interactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during disaster scenarios
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Exceptional multitasking abilities under high-pressure conditions
- Type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
- No criminal history (felony convictions disqualify)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
