Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and compassion
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications
- Utilize CAD systems for incident tracking and resource allocation
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during emergencies
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services teams
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver's license at time of hire
- Proficient in typing (minimum 35 WPM)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Clear speaking voice and excellent communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and technical aptitude
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
