Responsibilities
- Process 911/emergency calls with precision and compassion
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RADAR systems
- Maintain radio communication with field personnel
- Coordinate with EMS/Fire during multi-agency incidents
- Enter/update critical data in NCIC/LEADS databases
- Manage sensitive information with HIPAA compliance
- Operate multiple communication channels simultaneously
- Document all incidents per department protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship and valid PA driver's license
- Pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Type 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS)
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
- Clear speaking voice with strong diction
- No criminal history (felony/misdemeanor offenses)
