Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units using CAD/RMS systems
- Provide clear instructions to callers during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Typing minimum 35 WPM
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear speaking voice and strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
