Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate radio communication protocols
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via EMD protocols
- Document incident reports and maintain detailed logs
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate specialized emergency equipment and software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- U.S. citizenship and Ohio residency
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background investigation and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic computer proficiency
