Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD systems
- Remain calm during high-stress crisis situations
- Maintain detailed and accurate call logs and incident reports
- Operate radio equipment and multi-line telephone systems
- Coordinate resources during emergencies and critical incidents
- Provide clear instructions to callers until help arrives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Clear speaking voice and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
