Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and professionalism
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Enter and update critical information in CAD systems
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during critical incidents
- Complete all required training modules within designated timeframe
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills (40 WPM)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Calm demeanor under pressure with multitasking aptitude
- Valid Texas driver's license
- No felony convictions
