Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and caller guidance
- Operate radio equipment and emergency notification systems
- Participate in continuous training and scenario drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license (within 30 days of hire)
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
