Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls for police/fire/EMS services
- Operate radio systems to coordinate field units and resources
- Enter and update critical information in CAD systems
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during emergencies
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Collaborate with multiple agencies during crisis situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Typing minimum 40 WPM (tested during application)
- Clear English communication skills (written/spoken)
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office applications
- No felony convictions (Misdemeanors reviewed case-by-case)
