Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with calm professionalism
- Operate radio systems for police/fire/EMS coordination
- Enter/update critical data in CAD and RMS systems
- Maintain detailed incident logs and documentation
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergencies
- Coordinate resources with multiple agencies
- Adhere to NIMS protocols and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed: 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Strong verbal communication skills in English/Spanish
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- No felony convictions
