Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls for service
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio equipment
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and records
- Provide clear, concise communication to first responders
- Monitor multiple channels simultaneously during high-pressure situations
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM)
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- No felony convictions
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
