Responsibilities
- Answer 911 and non-emergency calls with empathy and accuracy
- Process and prioritize emergency dispatches for police units
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents and communications
- Operate CAD systems and radio equipment during training
- Coordinate with other agencies during multi-jurisdictional incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural protocols
- Complete all required training modules within designated timeframe
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 18+ years old at time of hire
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Clear speaking voice with excellent communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
