Responsibilities
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to coordinate emergency responses
- Process 911 calls with rapid accuracy and composure
- Maintain detailed incident logs using CAD systems
- Dispatch officers and emergency services to scenes
- Provide critical information to first responders in real-time
- Operate specialized emergency communication equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Clear speaking voice and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Ohio driver's license
