Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls and dispatch appropriate resources
- Operate radio systems and maintain detailed call logs
- Provide critical information to officers and other agencies
- Maintain calm demeanor during high-stress situations
- Utilize CAD systems for incident tracking and reporting
- Adhere to all departmental protocols and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong typing proficiency (40+ WPM)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Basic computer literacy and data entry experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license
- No felony convictions
