Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate radio/telephone systems for law/fire/EMS dispatch
- Maintain detailed CAD system logs and records
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions to callers
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Remain composed under extreme pressure situations
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid California driver's license
- Typing speed ≥35 WPM
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Exceptional communication abilities
- No felony convictions
