Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls with precision and urgency during high-stress situations
- Coordinate field units using CAD systems and radio communications
- Maintain detailed incident logs and digital records in compliance with NIMS protocols
- Provide life-saving medical instructions via EMD-certified protocols
- Collaborate with fire, EMS, and federal agencies during multi-agency responses
- Operate multi-channel communication systems during major emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 60 WPM typing certification
- EMD or APCO certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Experience in high-pressure customer service or crisis management
- Clear speaking voice with neutral American dialect
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
