Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency dispatches with precision
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio communications equipment
- Maintain detailed incident logs and coordinate multi-agency responses
- Provide critical pre-arrival medical instructions to callers
- Execute crisis intervention protocols for high-stress situations
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS units seamlessly
- Update and maintain confidential incident databases
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (college degree preferred)
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Pass criminal background check and polygraph examination
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Fluency in English/Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
- No prior felony convictions
