Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and empathy
- Operate radio systems to coordinate field units during critical incidents
- Enter and maintain real-time data in CAD and RMS systems
- Provide life-saving instructions via emergency medical protocols
- Manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously during crisis situations
- Document all communications with detailed and precise reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship and valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background investigation
- Typing minimum 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Clear speaking voice with excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- No felony convictions or misdemeanor domestic violence charges
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized software
