Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and compassion
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio communications during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed incident logs and documentation per department standards
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during active emergencies
- Provide life-saving pre-arrival instructions to callers
- Train on specialized protocols for domestic violence, medical crises, and natural disasters
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM)
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Must be available for flexible shifts (evenings/weekends)
