Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch emergency/non-emergency calls
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and computer-aided dispatch (CAD)
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers and field units
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate with fire, EMS, and other agencies during multi-agency incidents
- Perform data entry and system monitoring
- Remain calm under extreme pressure during critical situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and valid Colorado driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed ≥40 WPM with 90% accuracy
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be 18+ years old
