Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch emergency/non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Operate multi-channel radio systems, computer-aided dispatch (CAD), and 911 infrastructure
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and database records
- Provide critical information to first responders during high-stress situations
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Train on departmental protocols and crisis management procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities
- Experience in customer service or call centers
- Valid California driver's license
