Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and urgency
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio equipment
- Provide clear instructions to callers during critical incidents
- Coordinate with officers, firefighters, and medical teams
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Strong multitasking and decision-making skills
- Clear speaking voice and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid California driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
