Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Coordinate emergency response units using radio communication systems
- Maintain detailed logs and incident documentation
- Operate CAD systems and mapping software during critical incidents
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel
- Participate in continuous training and scenario drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency with typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Previous dispatch or customer service experience preferred
