Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and precision
- Operate multi-channel radio systems for police, fire, and EMS units
- Utilize CAD software to log incidents and track unit locations
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during medical emergencies
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Ability to pass extensive background check
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Experience in customer service or high-stress environments preferred
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced situations
- Clear communication skills in English (bilingual a plus)
- No felony convictions
