Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and emergency communications with precision and compassion
- Coordinate field responses for police, fire, and medical units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and provide real-time situational updates
- Apply de-escalation techniques during high-stress emergency situations
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and computer-aided dispatch equipment
- Collaborate with cross-agency responders during multi-jurisdictional incidents
- Complete comprehensive training modules in emergency protocols and crisis management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to pass thorough background check and psychological evaluation
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience in customer service or high-pressure environments
- Proficiency with computer systems and multitasking abilities
- Must pass written exam and scenario-based assessment
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
