Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls using CAD systems and prioritize incidents based on severity
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units with precise location and incident details
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and calm communication to callers in distress
- Operate radio equipment and maintain constant communication protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US citizenship and valid Hawaii driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
